Chapter 3 – Forest. The questions began again with the dawn light. I answered in kind, preparing myself for my day. I felt stronger than I had for weeks. Were they weeks? Months? Time had left me long ago, as it had once before. I rose quickly and dressed. Today I would be collecting. This […]

A Thrill of a ride!
This book keeps you on the edge of your seat with powerful characters and dark twists. Scott Butler is a fresh voice in the thriller genre who is not afraid to push himself and the reader.
With twists and turns and the different perspectives providing a mix of unpredictable voices - The Security was an engaging read that keeps it's reader guessing.
Chapter Three – Granny I was parked in front of Macquarie Centre, a giant white cubed affair with tiled tentacles stretching in all directions. No one was catching cabs. Gripping. Action packed from cover to cover. Twists and turns like a winding road. An action/thriller movie in the waiting.
With most thrillers I can predict what is going to happen next. This was definitely not the case with Drive.  It was a nail biting read trying to guess the connections within the story. From start to finish the story kept me guessing and wanting more.
A raw and engaging read. One of those books that feel very much like watching a movie - a fast-paced, exhilarating movie that keeps up a constant stream of suspense throughout its entire duration.
Just as addictive as GTA is to play, Drive is to read.
An easy style, with a fair bit of violence, so not for the faint hearted. Worth a read.
I’ve been having some fun with virtual worlds in my latest novel, Stalker. I’ve always been a fan of Tron and a good arcade game. I grew up in the 80’s and loved everything about it. This novel brings together a bit of nostalgia from those golden years and drops it comfortably beside something much darker. This story sits somewhere between Ready Player One and Gillian Flynn’s Sharp Objects. I’m looking forward to getting it out there.
